Now that you’re here – and probably broke the internet – here are 3 facts you never wanted to know about The Hoff:

1. There is a Hasselhoff Museum in Berlin.

Off course there is. Tucked away in the basement of the Circus Hostel, featuring Hoff memorabilia, a mural, and a replica of the piano key scarf that Hasselhoff wore during his 1989 performance at the Berlin Wall of the song Looking for Freedom.

Sit with that for a minute.

2. He once claimed he ended the Cold War.

Rumor has it that, according to The Hoff himself, his 1989 Berlin Wall performance of Looking for Freedom helped bring peace to Europe.

I mean… why not?

3. He sings “Heroes”. Partly in German.

On his 2019 album (yes, that’s correct) he also sings “Mit 66 Jahren” – in English. The latter is really only understandable for Germans who know about Schlager and Udo Jürgens.

I have nothing left to say.

You’re welcome
